'Siege' is a series of seats made and set up in a forest

This series of seats was made for an exhibition in a small wild island on the river La Loire in France called 'île de Baure'. The theme of the exhibition is to create the artworks based on the local resources.

The concept of 'Siéges' is to build some permanent seats in this wild space, which can serve the visitors during the exhibition. The whole area is an artificial island but now looks like a wild forest. So those half-worked seats try to bringing this contrast of the artificial and the nature in a smaller size.
